RIMMEL KATE MOSS NUDE LIPSTICKS

Yes girls, it's finally here! Finally we have some decent nude lipsticks available on the high street.
Rimmel London have teamed up with Kate Moss yet again to bring out a collection of nude lipsticks for us girls to enjoy. There is quite a wide range of different shades to suit everyone, from very pale pink/orange tones to deeper darker plum/pink tones. Pictured below are the 4 shades that I have picked as my personal favourites ans feel work best for myself but like I have mentioned, there are a few more out there for you to check out!

These lipsticks are perfect for everyday use or if you've created a really nice dramatic eye look for a night out but want something a little more subtle on the lips.

These Rimmel lipsticks have a great colour pay off and are very easy to apply. They are not drying on the lips at all, are quite moisturising and they stay for a good while once applied. They also have a very subtle fruity scent which is very pleasing as some lipsticks can have a chemical-like scent which can be pretty off putting.
By far these lipsticks are my favourite high street brand and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

You can check these lipsticks out in Boots and Superdrug.

Until next time,

FAVOURITE SUMMER BRONZE PRODUCTS

Now most of us all love to have a tan. It makes most of us feel better and more confident with one and can help make that outfit you're wearing POP!
Personally, I don't like sunbeds but I have nothing against anyone using them, as long as you're being careful. There are hundreds of fake tan products on the market but these are just some that I've found that work best for myself to get that summer holiday glow!

If you want to build up a gradual tan daily as you moisturise then I highly recommend the "Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion". This product has been around for a few years now but I re-purchase it every year. A lot of the moisturisers that are out that give you a gradual tan usually have a terrible smell but this one doesn't. It smells like apricots and applies easily and evenly onto the skin. It is also very moisturising which is essential to prevent dry flaky skin in the summertime. After around 3-4 days of using it you should notice a difference and the summer glow should be starting to build up. but remember, this product does have fake tan in it so please remember to wash your hands afterwords! (this is a mistake that I've made once or twice haha).

For an instant tan I highly recommend the "ST. Moriz Instant Tanning Mousse" I apply this the night before I'm going out somewhere and I wanna feel a little more tanned then wash it off in the shower the next day and it gives you a really nice natural looking tan. This however has the typical fake tan smell to it so its advised that you do wash it off before going out as it's pretty strong. I find my tan can last a good 3-4 days before it begins to fade. Also before applying this product and any other self tanner it is best to exfoliate to prevent build up especially at your knees and elbows. (We've all been there!)

We cannot forget the face whilst the rest of our body is tanned and glowing. I've personally never tried a fake tan for my face. I always just opt for a slightly darker foundation.
Also I use bronzer. A couple of my favourites are the "Benefit 'Hoola' Bronzer" and also the "NAKED Flushed" Palette by Urban Decay.

This palette is great for adding a little glow to your face after you have applied your foundation as well as a great highlighter and rosy blush. It is also very light and compact so it is easy for you to pop it in your bag to touch-up on the go!

Hopefully you guys found this post helpful!

Until next time,

REVIEW: L'OREAL INFALLIBLE FOUNDATION

I've always been after a really good coverage foundation but never found anything that hasn't ended up making me look oily throughout the day. Until now...

My skin is combination/oily so foundation tends to melt off my face after a few hours and tends to go pretty cakey around my forehead, nose and chin.
The "L'oreal Paris Infallible 24h-Matte Foundation" however is perfect. It applies very well with a brush or a damp make-up sponge and is great for covering pores and acne scarring (which is the bane of my life!!).
It goes on as a liquid but dries in almost like a powder and is very lightweight which I love and it doesn't feel like you're wearing any foundation at all. So much so, sometimes I forget I've even applied any! Oops.
Also you don't have to put on any powder afterwords, because it's a matte foundation there's no need for the added powder but you can apply some if you feel more comfortable doing so.
There are a great range of different shades too which is always a bonus and it is very affordable.

Basically, it's a great foundation and I would highly recommend it,
It's available at boots and superdrug.

Thanks for reading!

Until next time,
Lynsey x

A LITTLE DAY OUT

You guys know that I love my food and I love places that do healthy and satisfying foods as well! Whenever I go out places now I love to try different places for food. It's great to get out of the same old routine and try something new!
This weekend I took a little afternoon trip to St. Andrews where I went out to lunch at a restaurant called Forgans on Market Street. I had never been before but had previously looked up the menu online and really fancied it. I was also recommended by one of my good friends to try it out. So I did!
Inside it feels like you are in a completely different country. It is so nice and welcoming with a lovely calm and serene atmosphere. It is country-esque decor and vintage cutlery and plates make it so quirky and cute. They have great traditional pub grub with a country twist and it is really affordable as well. It is also healthy for you and not greasy and fattening. You get a lot of food for your money.
I had the flat iron steak sandwich and my god it was the best ever!! The steak was cooked to perfection and the mustard mayo and onion chutney was just to die for! Also there were crispy hand it chips and a side salad with a vinegerette dressing. I am drooling at the thought of it right now!
There was so many choices on the menu that I wanted to try out but I will definitely be back to try more things. It would be rude not to right?

And of course, you can't forget a cheeky ice cream afterwords can you?
