THINGS I LEARNED IN 2014

Ok so this may be a little late but I've decided to do it anyway. 2014 was a pretty crap year for me and a lot of things happened. Hears a few things that I've learned in the last year which will hopefully help me grow further.

1. You can't please everyone. No matter how hard you try it isn't possible and I have stopped trying this as it is a waste of time and energy.

2. Don't trust everyone. Not everyone you deem as a friend will be there for you as you are for them. Sometimes, as sad as it sounds, people only wanna hear bad things happening to you and aren't there to help you. I lost a lot of "friends" last year and to be honest I'm happier now they're no longer a part of my life.

3. Do what makes YOU happy. Don't worry about anyone else or what they think. If it truly makes you happy then go for it! If those other people aren't happy for you then they were never worth it in the first place.

4. Working hard gets you what you want. Never give up. If its something that you truly want in life then go for it and make sure you work damn hard to get it, and when you do, the feeling will be amazing I promise!

5. Being single isn't the end of the world. Yes it seems a scary thought being alone and not being able to go out on dates etc. But think about it, you WILL find someone else, more than likely when you least expect it and there is a good reason why it never worked with the person before. Just surround yourself with good friends, good food and whatever else makes you happy. Music lifts my mood if I'm feeling down.

and finally,

6. .Make sure the next year is PROGRESS. Take whatever bad crap has happened in the previous years and turn it into positive vibes to strive for betterness and strength for the future. Ignore what has happened, it's in the past for a reason and move on with your life and be the happy person you want to be, Just remember someone out there loves you for exactly who you are even if you may not think that yourself.

I hope this may have helped a few of you and I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2015!

Lots of Love, Lynsey x
