Yesterday was the first time in a while that I had been out properly for a good old walk and I have to say I have completely missed it! With the fresh air, wind in your hair and the cold biting wind in your face making you feel awake and fresh. I woke up early and myself and my dad had made plans to take the camera out for some shots of the beach/water and ended up walking for about 4 miles! Although it seems a lot, it didn't feel that much. It was great to get out and get some fresh air. It also helped me clear my head and think about things better. A good walk can often make you feel so much better whether it be alone, with your dog or with a friend/family member. I think sometimes we forget how beautiful the outdoors is because we are so caught up in our busy lives and also with the internet and our mobile phones. It is important to take yourself away from that completely for a while (at least once a week) and actually be yourself to let yourself have a break and to appreciate what you have around you. I had defiantly missed it and will be making it a more regular thing. It's hard to motivate yourself sometimes especially in winter time because it's so cold, but you should really make the most of it when you get the chance. I dare you to give it a go!
